Remote Dispatcher

About the Role

Sunbelt Logistics specializes in temperature-controlled freight across the Southwest. We need an experienced remote dispatcher with reefer experience to manage a network of 30 refrigerated carriers. You will handle time-sensitive produce and pharmaceutical loads that require precision communication.

Responsibilities

• Dispatch 30 reefer carriers on Southwest lanes daily
• Monitor temperature logs and ensure compliance with customer requirements
• Handle time-critical communication for perishable and pharmaceutical loads
• Source backup capacity on short notice when primary carriers have issues
• Maintain detailed records in McLeod TMS

Requirements

• ✓3+ years of dispatching with reefer or temperature-controlled freight
• ✓Experience with McLeod TMS preferred
• ✓Familiarity with FDA food safety transport requirements
• ✓Strong attention to detail and urgency
• ✓Available for on-call coverage on a rotating schedule
