Night Shift Dispatcher

About the Role

Irongate Logistics needs a reliable Night Shift Dispatcher to cover our after-hours operations from 10 PM – 6 AM CST. You will be the primary contact for overnight drivers, handling breakdowns, delivery exceptions, and load updates while the main team is offline.

Responsibilities

• Monitor all active shipments overnight and respond to driver calls
• Coordinate emergency responses to breakdowns and accidents
• Update TMS with real-time location and status information
• Escalate critical issues to on-call manager when necessary
• Handoff detailed notes to day shift at the end of each shift

Requirements

• ✓1+ year of dispatching or logistics experience
• ✓Comfortable working independently overnight
• ✓Strong problem-solving skills under pressure
• ✓Reliable internet connection and quiet home office
• ✓Must pass background check
