LTL Freight Coordinator

About the Role

Summit Distribution is seeking an LTL Freight Coordinator to manage less-than-truckload shipments for our distribution network. You will work with multiple carriers to quote, book, and track LTL freight while maintaining excellent customer service.

Responsibilities

• Quote and book LTL shipments with preferred carriers
• Generate and manage bills of lading and freight documents
• Track all LTL shipments and communicate status to internal customers
• Audit freight invoices and resolve billing discrepancies
• Maintain carrier scorecards and performance records

Requirements

• ✓Experience with LTL shipping and carrier portals
• ✓Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
• ✓Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• ✓Good communication skills for internal and carrier contacts
• ✓Freight industry experience preferred but not required
